Owner / Instructor
Rob is a former police sergeant and served fourteen
years in law enforcement. Rob has over twenty years of
emergency response experience with law enforcement and
fire/rescue. He has worked many areas of law enforcement
including street patrol, adult and juvenile criminal
investigations, gang investigator, drug task force
investigator, under-cover operations, special response
teams, and Use of Force training. Along with TRIPLE
THREAT FIREARMS TRAINING CO. LLC, he also operates
RANGROUP, LLC, a private training company. He continues
to teach and lecture as a primary instructor at the
Idaho Police Academy and in the private sector.
Rob is a Master Instructor of “Arrest Techniques”
and also holds POST instructor status in:
- Reactive Impact Weapons (baton & flashlight)
- Ground Control (based from Gracie Jiu-Jitsu)
- Controlled F.O.R.C.E. I & II (hybrid forcible
handling)
- Firearms / Combat & Tactical / Tactics
- Over 4000 instructor hours
He has taught in the private sector at Albertson
College (Caldwell, ID) and The College of Southern Idaho
(Twin Falls, ID). Rob has trained the Army National
Guard, U.S. Army Reserves (Pre-Deployment for Iraq),
Corporate Security and private groups.
Rob is a graduate of the FBI Executive Command College,
Medical First Responder, Idaho Media Professionals
(Technical Advisor) and a member of the USNSTA (United
States National Standards of Training Association).

Owen,
Owner / Instructor
Keith Owen is a renowned Martial Arts Instructor who is
in constant demand for seminars and whose martial arts
videos are sold throughout the world,
(www.bjjmoves.com).
He has three martial arts black belts including a Black
Belt in
Wu Wei Gung Fu under Bruce Lee student Joseph Cowles and
a Black Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Keith is a former Twin
Falls County Sheriff’s Deputy and is a Senior Use of
Force Instructor at the Idaho Police Academy. He is a
Master Instructor in Ground Control and Pioneered the
Program for the Academy as well.
Keith is also a POST (Police Officer Standards &
Training) Certified Instructor in:
- Reactive Impact Weapons (baton & flashlight)
- Weapon Retention
- Arrest Techniques
- Controlled Force
- Firearms
Keith spent two years in Las Vegas, Nevada working
for the Prestigious Front Sight Firearms Training Center
as a Hand Gun, Shotgun and Uzi Submachine Gun
Instructor. Keith is also a Certified NRA Pistol and
Defense in the Home Instructor.
