HANDGUN 1 This course will provide the student with a solid foundation of skills and techniques that is needed to effectively and safely deploy a handgun. This course is instructor led with demonstrations and practical exercises. The entire course will be instructed at the range and the students will shoot approximately 250-300 rounds from various distances. The entire course is scheduled for 8 hours. The following topics will be taught during this block of instruction:   Avoiding an Attack Firearms & Range safety Fundamentals of marksmanship Presentation from the holster (Open Carry) Malfunction Drills Use of force and liabilities for CCW holders Loading / Unloading procedures Positions of Carry Tactical Reloading / speed reloading Single Target Engagements We have Handgun Rentals available for any of our Handgun classes for $50.00 Rentals include: Glock-9mm Handgun, holster, 3 magazines and a magazine pouch. This course picks up where Handgun 1 finishes. There is very little lecture in this course and the students will be shooting approximately 300-350 rounds from varying distances and shooting positions. Support hand shooting and moving while engaging threat targets and an introduction into close quarter battle. The entire course is 8 hours. Gun fighter 101 - This course is not for the beginner shooter. This is a fast passed course and you will be expected to perform and maintain all safety standards at all times. At the conclusion of this course the student will be able to properly and effectively engage hostile targets at varying distances from a concealed carry. Each student will fire approximately 300-350 rounds during this course. The entire course is 8 hours. This Class will consist of a 3 to 4 hour lecture. It will cover which states have a Formal Reciprocity, a written agreement, with the State of Utah and the other states that recognize its CWP. At the end of this class, students will receive a packet containing ALL the required paper work in which to obtain your CWP from the State of Utah, including finger print cards and a “what to do next” list. Iron Eagle Dr., in Eagle, Idaho Gear: No gear required HANDGUN SAFETY SEMINAR Our HG safety seminar is for the private group who wants an “Overview” of safe gun handling skills and education of firearms. Class length is three hours and includes fifty rounds of live fire for each student. Class is held at an outdoor range and Triple Threat Firearms Training Co. provides ALL of the equipment, guns, ammunition, and hearing protection needed for this class. The entire seminar is 3 hours. The following topics will be covered: • Firearms safety rules • Nomenclature of a gun • How to buy the right gun for you • Concealed weapon permit information • Proper stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control • How to safely load and unload a gun • State hand gun laws • How to be a Hard Target Cost: $75.00 Dates & Times: By Request for groups of 10 or more Location: Blacks Creek Range Gear: No gear required, (T-3 supplies all necessary gear, equipment & ammunition) URBAN RIFLE OK, here it is. We’ve had a number of clients ask about this class. Our 2-day UR class is the foundation and fundamental training for any UR owner. This class is for anyone who owns a UR and wants to learn the basics of deploying and using it safely. The course will be split with classroom and range instruction. Course includes 500 rounds of live fire. The entire course is scheduled for 16 hours, (approx. 8 hours each day). (see Gear Page for more info). KID’S GUN SAFETY For all kids ages 5 & up. This class will take the mystery, mystique, and wonder out of handguns by educating and implementing practical tests. Parents are highly encouraged to stay and participate. A parent has two choices if there are kids and guns in the home, hide the guns and don’t tell them, or, educate the kids in how to be safe around guns in their home or any other home where guns may be present. Fairview Dr., in Meridian, Idaho Gear: No gear required Retail & Commercial Business Safety Assessment Briefing T-3 will conduct a briefing for the business on safety at the work place. The briefing is done at your place of business. This class will help employees understand the importance of "having a crisis response plan". Time is also spent on being aware of early warning signs along with having an alert mind-set while commuting to and from work.
